Triple Contact Microphone

This triple microphone is enclosed in solid UV-cured resin, providing immediate response to the surface being amplified, with three piezo elements within to increase the "mic-able" surface area. The 1/4" jack is soldered directly to the piezo element and completely enclosed in resin to eliminate any noise that might be introduced due to a weak connection. The solid resin also helps reduce some of the scratchy high end noise to which piezo microphones are prone.

The resin creates a completely solid, glass-like look into which you can see the jack's connection to the microphone element.
